Welcome to the F.D. Roosevelt Squadron of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) based at NAS Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida.

The NSCC is for American youth ages 10-17 who have a desire to learn about the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. Sea Cadets are authorized by the Secretary of the Navy to wear Navy uniforms appropriately marked with the Sea Cadet Corps insignia. The objectives of the Sea Cadet program are to introduce youth to naval life in a hands-on, real-world environment, to develop in them a sense of pride, patriotism, courage, and self-reliance, and to maintain an environment free of drugs and gangs.

We have been invited to Moody AFB to watch some flight drills. We will be leaving Jax at 0630 and returning in plenty of time to break before the IceMen game. If your cadet would like to attend please RSVP below.

Who’s Invited: Cadets, friend, family, and coworker are welcome!

Date: March 1, 2025 (Saturday)

Unit Rally Time: 5:00pm – 5:30pm [the earlier the better to secure parking OR carpool!]

What to Wear: NWU Type 3’s, expectations are to meet USNSCC standards and regulations per usual for cadets not on the color guard team; Dress uniform for cadets that are doing color guard and after presentation of flag they will put on Type 3's.

Game Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Tickets are usual $33.00 but the Jacksonville Icemen have been kind enough to give us all tickets off at more than 50% discount rate! Both links are the exact same pricing FYSA.
Purchase Deadline: February 21st, 2025 for guaranteed tickets with the unit at the cost of $15. After February 21st 2025, ticket price may increase at the decision of the Jacksonville Icemen.

We kindly ask that you use the link ending in "Seacadets6" to purchase your cadets' tickets. This will help us streamline the process, save time and effort on "check-ins," and allow us to use the order history as a record of attendance. By doing so, we can avoid the need for a paper check-in, rally everyone together more efficiently, and focus on having a fun and successful drill event.
